The 2011 FINZ Conference programme is currently being developed. There will be a range of speakers from over seas and New Zealand.
Do you have something new, cutting edge or exciting to share with fundraisers from throughout New Zealand?
FINZ is the membership organisation for professional fundraisers. Our conference is an opportunity for fundraisers from throughout New Zealand to take part in a variety of learning forums - from a series of 'Break Out' sessions, offering presentations and interactive workshops, to topical and inspiring plenary presentations with internationally acclaimed guest speakers, to post-conference Master Classes. There is something to challenge and inspire fundraisers at all levels.
The FINZ conferences provide a collaborative setting in which delegates can interact with conference presenters as well as fellow fundraisers drawn from every charitable sector.
Presenters are now being sought for conference workshops for Wellington 2011. Aimed at fundraisers from beginners to the experienced and covering core fundraising practice as well as case studies, new approaches and the latest developments in fundraising methodology, presenting is also an opportunity to gather feedback from the fundraising community.
The 2011 FINZ Conference will be held in Wellington, New Zealand in May 2011 - Dates TBC.
Presentations
Presenters are being sought for 'Break Out' sessions (85 minutes) and Master Classes (full day sessions) aimed at fundraisers from beginners to the very experienced. Presentations can cover core fundraising practice as well as new approaches and the latest developments in fundraising methodology.
Important information
Applicants will be notified of the success of their application by email.
Applications will be assessed on the relevance, practicality, audience appropriateness and transferability of content. If you have presented at a FINZ event before, delegate feedback will also be considered.
Individual and joint presentations are welcome. If applying to present as a group please note that FINZ will use the 'applicant details' section as the main contact.
No speaker fees will be paid to presenters of 'Break Out' sessions. You will however get a complimentary ticket to the awards dinner and half price conference registration.
If you are interested in presenting a Master Class please indicate on your application what your speaker fee (if any) would be. All presenters of Master Classes are expected to present a 'Break Out' session on a similar topic.
Unless other arrangements are made, all travel and additional expenses are the responsibility of the speaker.
FINZ Conferences are the main educational opportunity for fundraisers in New Zealand and as such overt marketing of presenter's material or services is not acceptable. A company logo and website address may appear on the first and last slide of the session only. In addition, presenters may provide a marketing item (250 copies) for inclusion in the conference satchels.
The preparation and supply of power point presentations, handouts or other materials used in a presentation is the responsibility of the presenter.
If your application to present is successful, information on this application will be used to promote your session in printed and electronic materials. It will not be rechecked with you so please ensure the information you provide now is clear and accurate.
